Exactly what it says on the tin. Here are 50 very quick tips, 1 per page on improving your game. It can be read in under an hour. What matters is that, for me, it worked. I'm a rookie losing more games than I win, and it is such as me, I suppose, that this book is aimed. The tips, on opening, running, blocking, bearing off, odds, doubling, are easy to digest but extremely effective. My rating is improving just after reading (and re-reading) it. There's a useful glossary at the end and a table for calculating the odds on dice throws. The tips on odds were, in particular, very clear and helpful. Indeed, if this little book has a theme, it is playing with the odds.
