The Tippitoes Littondale Cot is manufactured in Europe from natural beech wood making it harder wearing. The stylish and contemprary design features a lift and tilt drop side, whilst both sides of the cot feature teething rails. A three position mattress base will fit a standard 120 x 60mm mattress (not included). Assembled dimensions 125 x 60 x 85 cms, approximate weight 25 kilos.

I ordered this for the imminent birth of my son. I'm 7 mths pregnant and was able to assemble it by myself, although the drop-side took a few attempts to get it to work properly. The instructions are clear and the cot is exactly what I was looking for - I wanted a cot that I can place right next to my bed so that we can co-sleep with our son in the safest possible manner. The base has 3 positions, so I was able to adjust the height so that it matches the height of our bed. Initially, I was going to leave the drop side off, again to make it easier to get baby out in the night for feeds, however the drop side lowers to leave just a slight 'edge' between him and us, therefore the ease of lifting him out meant the drop side could be left on. Also, this means when he sleeps during the day, I can just raise the side and know he's safe. For older 'tots' both sides come with clear plastic teething rails (attached on arrival, so no need to do anything). I would recommend this product for it's build quality and practicality.

The tippitoes beech cot is worth every penny and such good value for money. The instructions are very easy to follow (which is just as well as I am a numpty when it comes to putting things together) and the cot is easy to assemble. The overall look of the cot is good, it looks classy. Nothing negative to say, its all good!
