I was in two minds wheather to purchase these or not as the reviews were a bit hit and miss, our local supermarket had sold out, so l didn't have a choice. When l unpacked them they were covered with what seemed to be smellie oil, but with some kitchen roll it came off, l presume this is what reviewers said was the smell as it is pretty bad, but l got rid of the oil (l think was a coating to keep the rubber supple and stop it from cracking) and they seem to be fine, upto now no problems.

It's quite unbelievable, but this bottle simply broke while I was screwing the top. The rubber ripped without further notice, about a week after I bought it. Not a lot let to say about how irresponsible it is to just sell this product at all. The seller returned my money, but what if something serious had happened? Please stay away from this water bottle!

This product is fine, great price. It is definitely smaller than my old hot water bottle from Boots so the cover is several inches too big for this product. There was a very slight coating/smell on it (per the other reviews) but really not a problem for me.

The water hole is too small, could be dangerous.
I was disappointed by the size of the hole where you pour the water and they were a little smaller that ones I'd purchased before. I hope they've changed this.

Good value
You cannot improve on the basic Rubber hot water bottle. So at the price it's great value. I ordered two one for the tummy one for the toes.

Just what is says in the advert
What can I say? They are hot water bottles!? Nothing special about them, but the water holes are much smaller than the holes in my old bottles. This makes filling a bit harder. Read more
