Like many in urban areas, we enjoy the pleasures and curses of foxes. Pleasures ? I like foxes, they are great survivors, they are wily and (to me) very attractive animals. The curse is that once they find your dustbin, they won't leave it alone. Clearing up the garden of yesterday's chicken wrapper or food leftovers it not a preferred morning chore. So battle has been joined with this bin with lockable handles. It's robust, it's neater and tidier than a wheelie bin and it can be tied to a stake for extra security. So far, I'm ahead in the battle, the bin handles work very well. I'll let you know if my red-haired chums learn how to undo them. (Oh and this bin is considerably cheaper than others I have seen for sale.)

Bin is good quality, much better than ones I saw in B&Q. Had to do a minor bend to one handle to get it to lock on to the lid properly. Deivery charge is a bit high.

This is a great bin, I use it for garden waste that needs to be taken to the compost section at our local tip, before it was loads of bags that would spill inside the car. This bin of course as also very good for household waste. I love the fact that you can lock it closed. Best of all, it was a great price.

what can I say. it does exactly what it says on the bin - keeps out moisture (yes lots of practice with this years wet weather), also keeps out any pests (or dogs), keeps food fresh and free from any stay additives.
My only criticism is that yes it is a black bin at a good price, to get the snazzy colourful bins you have to pay a whole lot more money for. WHY?? they are doing the same job so why if I want a athesicly pleasing blue one do I have to pay over the top for one. The black one will be staying cos it does a good (if not the same) job Yes rant over!!!

The bins have a plastic/cigarette like smell, which is the reason I'm not ranking this higher. Other reviewers have said it goes after a couple of days, but despite me leaving it open and on the balcony for an entire month now, the smell is still very much there. I was hoping to use this as a simple, nondescript house bin. The smell is barely noticeable if the lid has been off for a while, but if you cover it for 12 hours the smell will strongly return. I think the company should mention this, since at the time of writing it is described as 'ideal for storage around the home or garden.' The smell is worse in hotter temperatures.

It is extremely sturdy, and despite being empty on the balcony has not once blown over. The handles lock securely. It would be an ideal outdoor bin, or for storing something that already smells like pet food.

Not much to say, a stable outdoor bin with a lid that clips on to prevent ingress of water, mice, rats, foces, badgers and even slugs. Only 2 minor gripes; firstly that bin smelled of smoke, it is as if the factory where packing is done is full of smokers or maybe just a condition of the plastic, haven't come across this before but after a few weeks the smell is still there when the lid is taken off. Secondly, the handles do fill up with rainwater, which is a poor design but doesn't cause any real problems. This is a good product for me as I live in a 'use council bin bags only area' and this cetainly helps with storage of waste and keeping my friendly mouse out of the bags.

Good sturdy bin, locking handles are useful for keeping foxes and cats out of bins and a very good price. Only minor complaint (minor) is that lid section where lids lock fill up with water. A very useful buy.

Haven't had it long, as we have just moved. But look strong, durable and it will do the job. I like the handles, they dont seem flimsy. Fairly priced compared to other similar bins, when I was looking. Product arrived earlier than expected so I was pleased. And was packaged and wrapped up well.
