5.0 out of 5 stars Every primary teacher should own a copy!, 8 Jul 2004
By A Customer
Pie Corbett and Sue Palmer never fail to deliver, in terms of their ability to produce material which is both clear to understand and is relevant to the climate of teaching today.
This book is split into the main strands of Literacy - grammar, writing, handwriting, spelling, speaking, listening, cross-curricular links, drama and reading.
Each section provides suggestions for everyday activities that will enhance the child's learning and make teaching more creative.
The layout is excellent and it is one of those books that you can 'dip into' and not have to 'read' from start to finish in order to grasp what the authors are saying.
A very useful guide for teachers.

An easy to use book which has an excellent layout. Written in an accessible style and an invaluable tool for all teachers, experienced or otherwise. I just wish I had bought a copy sooner.

This is a really easy to read, no nonsense guide to the strategies that really work in the classroom. I would reccommend this to teachers of literacy across the key stages.
