This was one of the cheapest drives I could find and I wasn`t disappointed.
Value for money it`s a bargain. I cannot see what I would have gained by buying a more expensive drive.

Excellent extra drive - well worth it 1 July 2011

I bought a new PC with only one DVD drive, so wanted this as an extra for dubbing. It fitted in very quickly & easily, & worked straight out of the box - no set up issues at all. Haven't used it much yet, but have no complaints so far. The only thing to watch out for is that you'll probably need a SATA power lead at least, & maybe a SATA data lead - my PC had a spare data plug on the existing lead, but I did need a separate power lead.
