For the price, this device represents great value for money.
Overall - I couldn't be happier!
I was thinking of getting a stand alone DVD player but when I saw this amazingly priced drive I had to try it out. I was so happy with this product which I managed to get a relative to buy for Christmas ( an idea that you may even use.) as an early present.
The installation is relatively painless and as my machine has Windows XP installing the drivers and software was fast and easy. This was good as I couldn't wait to start watching some of my new DVD's, films like Matrix and The Crow look perfect.
The quality of the drive is wonderful and the picture is as you would expext, excellent. I would recommend this drive to any one, esspecially my self. I have included some techncal data for all of you techies out there.

This drive is very very cheap but was simple to install and allthought the software that comes with it isn't great (i would reconmend using other DVD player software, any will do)it has filled the gap in my computer.
Only time will tell weather this was a bargin or not, but even if it breaks after 6 months its still cheap!!!!!!
the motor-sound when playing a dvd is definitly noticable, but when you pay this price, who can complain.. Read more
