The Treaty of Lisbon amends the Treaty on European Union (TEU) and the Treaty establishing the European Community (TEC), which is renamed 'Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union' (TFEU). This consolidated version of the Lisbon Treaty includes all articles in the TEU and the TFEU as amended by the Treaty. It also contains the Charter of Fundamental Rights, as well as 37 protocols and 65 Declarations annexed to the Lisbon Treaty.
