Before anyone says "Lisa is back !" all her true fans know that she was never away !! Coinciding with Lisa`s current smash hits across Europe, comes this DVD, which has to be the best release of 2005 so far (With Alison Moyet`s "One Blue Voice DVD" out towards the end of September Lisa`s reign could however be short-lived !). Lisa`s week-long run at the legendary London ""Ronnie Scott`s" Jazz Club was a couple of years ago, but this release perfectly captures the magical atmosphere experienced by those of us that managed to be there. Lisa, backed by musicians and singers obviously enjoying every minute too, presents a perfect selection of her hits and traditional standards. The cosy club atmosphere is perfectly captured and the only moan I have is that during the show the viewer cann`t call a waiter over to order a drink too ! I could wax lyrically about each song, but wouldn`t want to spoil the surprise. All Lisa fans will LOVE this DVD, and for those looking for something just that bit special then look no further. The DVD also contains an exclusive interview, in which a very relaxed Lisa Stansfield gives interesting, amusing insights into her world and the songs she chose to sing at "Ronnie Scott`s". Already available to fans in France and Germany, this DVD will be available very soon in the UK so get those orders off to Amazon straight away. And don`t forget to look out for Alison Moyet`s upcoming DVD too !!

If you are a true fan and adore Lisa Stansfield's voice and interpretation of her songs then this is an absolute must have, Even if you have not seen Lisa in concert (as i have been lucky to)then this is a worthwhile purchase, she is one of the very rare few who sings amazingly accurately live as she does to recorded versions of tracks. Lisa is timeless, cool, full of loads of class for her music genre and MUST do more her fans who simply love our 'homegrown' talent. She is the songs which she sings, every part of her are the lyrics which make watching her performance pure enjoyment. More, more more, don't leave us waiting.

This DVD is marvellous. It contains all the great hits of Lisa. The recording is superb: sound and picture recordings are wonderful. Viewing this DVD gives you the feeling your are there live in the concert. Sometimes I listen to the music only without the TV on and then you can concentrate on the wonderful sound. Lisa at here best. I give a 10 for the whole DVD.
