Purchased this publication on the advice of my wife who is a Professor within a Psychiatric Nursing Program for my Forensic In-patient unit. My staff, made up of young and relatively inexperienced nurses have found this book extremely helpful. It is easy to read and its application into the program has been seamless and user friendly. Highly recommended.

a farily useful refresher manual for psychiatric nursing care.It would be more comprhensive if it also include aspects of care which, although physical complenented the displayed mental health symptoms .e.g DEMNTIA PT = HEARING IMPEDIAMENT. what are the steps TO FOLLOW IN THE CARE PLAN FOR THE INTERVENTION . SIMPLE EXAMPLE BUT IF YOU DO NOT KNOWN THE STEPS THEN THIS BOOK IS NOT HELPFUL
