I am a little surprised that poor lip synchronisation is never discussed when DVD's are reviewed. Am I the only one who is susceptible to poor lip sync?

I have never found any problem with Blu-Ray. Similarly, the sync is perfectly OK on DVD's released in the last 5 years. However, on the following films the poor sync is very, very noticeable.

Gigi 1958
There's Something About Mary 1998
The 10 Things I hate about you. 1999
Prelude to a kiss 1992

Gigi has recently been released in Blu-Ray and I am wondering whether or not the lip sync has been improved. The disc has been extensively reviewed on Amazon.com but there has been no mention of this issue.

I would be interested to hear the views of anyone who notices this problem in either the above mentioned films or others.
