Product Description

Sky Link (Yaoi Manga)
The sky was a bright shade of blue on the first day of university and Ritsuki Ban hopes for a fresh start. As mysterious past regrets continue to linger in his mind, Ritsuki collides into a man who takes on an immediate interest in Ritsuki’s looks— a man whom he later discovers, is one of his new professors! The confident Professor Takagi does nothing to hide his feelings towards Ritsuki; however the reclusive Ritsuki refuses to become teacher’s pet. As Ritsuki and Takagi find themselves sky gazing together one day, they are moved by each others expressions and begin to find out more about each other.

Will Ritsuki be able to drop his troubles and fall for the popular, much-loved Professor? Will Professor Takagi ever realize that Ritsuki just wants to be left alone? A love for the sky links together these two seemingly different personalities in this much anticipated first original manga by Shiro Yamada.

1.0 out of 5 stars Boring 10 Aug 2013
By Kerry
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This book is ATROCIOUSLY boring. The expressions are incredibly poor - the artist pulls out the exact same expression on every panel. The plot is mediocre, with character development at an all-time low even for a one-shot. Seriously would not recommend. Not only that, but the seme, Takagi, is supposed to be a light-hearted, easy-going guy, yet he has one of the most evil, tall-dark-and-rapey faces I have ever seen in a manga.

Service itself: The book was in immaculate condition. Couldn't expect better than that. But the book took so long to get to me - over three months!! - that I actually forgot I'd even ordered it by the time I received it. However, this is VERY unusual service from Amazon and all the other companies who sell books within Amazon, so I won't consider that a bad thing.

4.0 out of 5 stars Title: "Sky Link" 28 Dec 2013

Let me start by saying that Shiro Yamada is an extremely good artist. Their work looks similar to that of Death Note's in a way... Aside from that, this story sort of reminded me of Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi during some parts- which is a good thing, as I really enjoyed watching that yaoi anime series. Again though, I have to express how I continue to wish for more complex, dangerous, serious plots in yaoi manga.
5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE IT 9 May 2013

The art is really good. The plot is a little forced but I dont care. They have good chemistry and the story brought you a lot of feelings.
3.0 out of 5 stars good...but plot holes 3 Feb 2012

over all the art was nice, which is important to me. there were two stories in this manga first the Sky Link one and another one about a half Japanese Half English guy and how his friend would always beat up people who picked on him. Over all the stories were nice, but I feel some plot holes like in Sky Link there's a guy chasing the MC saying if he wants to come back or not. I assume he means the Yukuza, but it's never talked about. I feel, perhaps, if this was just one story I would become more emotionally involved with the characters, but as the day pass I find myself struggling thinking 'oh it was okay. nothing special'
