These pillows make the bed look lovely, they are a good size and fill the pillowcase well andthey plump up well.

BUT i find them not so comfortable, once your head hits them the pillow just goes flat. There is no structure what so ever.

So mine have been resigned to cosmetic use only,

I would not recomment these pillows, for every day use.

When I received these back in July, I was very pleased with them. However, they are now going in the dustbin. If you want a room full of feathers every morning then I would say go ahead and buy them. I certainly don't!!! I have put three pillow cases on each one, and it doesn't make one bit of difference. Feathers everywhere! I suppose at the end of the day, you get what you pay for!!

After trying to make these pillows comfortable after purchasing 4 pillowcases to cover each pillow, the feathers still stick through and are unbearably uncomfortable. I am just about to throw them away. I was thinking to keep them as spares but i would not wish these on my own worse enemy. Not worth it please dont buy you will be disappointed.

Well - to be fair, these are what they say - goose feather pillows - but boy does it remind you of its poor build quality every night and day. When we got it, they were stinking - possibly of wet geese (I don't know how they smell, so I won't vouch for it). So that supa-stink went away after a few days, but that you have to clean up feathers every day is such an annoyance! I bought the pillow protectors sold by the same seller with this order, but the feathers were despite the protector and the usual pillow cover. I ignored a ditto review from someone here, but I wish I hadn't wasted my money on this product. I went back to Ikea before the month turned, and have got the feather pillows from there that have lasted me for years - they are a bit pricier, but that's money well spent.

After occasional use of these pillows for a couple of weeks the feathers started to poke through the pillow protector. So much so that I could not continue to use the pillows, they were very uncomfortable and the floor became covered in feathers.
I have always used feather pillows and have never had this problem before.
I had bought the pillows a couple of months before they were used (on the odd morning on the spare bed in baby's nursery), so did not discover their fault straight away. As soon as I had time (while caring for newborn baby) I contacted Linens Limited to explain the situation and to ask if I could return the pillows and have a refund as the pillows were unusable. Since I had bought the pillows 2 months prior to complaining (despite me explaining they had hardly been used) they would not refund me and could not take the pillows back for "hygiene" reasons.
I would not recommend these pillows or Linens Limited.

Poor quality defective pillows which are totally unfit for purpose. The feathers come out by the hundreds. Lay your head on the pillow and you'll feel the prickling of lots of feathers working their way out of the pillow.

They're clearly defective products but the seller doesn't care. They even had the cheek to explain, in detail, why this is a low quality product and such defects should be expected because they're so cheap!

I'm going to be taking this up with trading standards. Meanwhile here's the excuses the seller "Linens Limited" sent me when I attempted (twice) to return these.

0 stars out of 5. I'm forced to give them 1/5 as that's the minimum score!

Many thanks for your email. Please be advised that I am sorry to learn the issues you are facing with the pillows.

It is commonly known that small feathers do find and filter their way out of their casing especially if the products are produced with a thin lining material.

The difference between our own branded items and a well known branded item is not just the brand name but other factors must be considered such as:

The casing material can be a 100% Microfibre Cover (as your item is) or 100% Cotton cambric cover with a 233 Thread Count which is thicker and also more expensive- which would reflect in the price you pay for the item.

Here we have two of the same product which are priced two different costs and made to a different specifications, the tread count on the microfiber is not to a tread count of 233 therefore considered to be of less quality.

When a product is less quality than another product this would normally reflect in the price in which you pay for it, this is not to say that they both don't to the same thing.

The first two nights, they were most comfortable, but from then on - oh boy! - my face and neck got so pricked I had to stop wearing summer nighties and start wearing thick long-sleeved winter ones!! They're for the charity shop now, and it's poly ones for me!!

Too good to be true! Don't waste your money buying these pillows. They offer no support - like sleeping on thin air. Customer service don't want to know. I will take my business elsewhere.
