Bought this product and after 2 washes on 30 degrees and hung out to dry the material becomes bobbly. Tried to bring this up with the seller and they were not interested at all. I've had to throw this away as the whole point of Egyptian coton is the comfort when now it feels like a very old warn pillow covers.

I may of been unlucky with the batch but I would recommend sourcing this product from elsewhere due to the non existent after sales.

Description is wrong. These pillowcases are actually combed cotton satin - NOT the single yarn cotton percale in the description. The seller won't acknowledge this fact despite it being clearly printed on the outside label and also evident from the finish of the cotton, meaning you won't get all your money back either and will be out P&P costs and the return costs unless you file a claim through amazon. The sellers customer service is appalling and extremely frustrating. I would say buy elsewhere and avoid at all costs.

I saw lots of bad reviews for this product, and the company, but still decided to give them a go. I wish I hadn't. They are definitely NOT 400 thread count (they are so thin that I could see all the labels - and read them - through the sheets.) They are also sateen, a point not made clear from the website but which means they are really shiny and cheap looking. I ended up returning all the bedding that I bought from Linens Limited (which cost me £15 in P&P) and buying expensive ones from John Lewis (the Pima range). The quality of the products from John Lewis is so much better and well worth the money. If you want nice sheets then spend more and buy nice sheets.

I was a bit disappointed to be honest. The sheets don't feel like the egyptian cotton I was expecting and don't get much better on washing. I got the exact same thread count from another supplier and it was a lot nicer.

Really like these. Beautiful quality oxford pillowcases with a high thread count. Think luxury hotel bedlinen. Ditch the polycotton inferior rubbish and treat yourself to these. Yes you have to iron them, but that's because they are the real deal - pure cotton and not the cheap scratchy stuff that goes grey. Really cool and soft on your skin. I like them so much that I am going to order more.

I'd like to be able to tell you what this product is like, but having placed an order on the 30th of NOVEMBER last year, we're now approaching the end of JANUARY and Linens Limited have staggeringly failed to deliver this and two other items. You can imagine that as this was intended to be a Christmas present, this is just beyond the pail. (An offer of a refund two months after an order has been accepted, in my view, is just unacceptable).

They are the type of seller that gives online shopping in general, and Amazon in particular, a bad name. I have had to phone them four times and chase them by email. I have not received a single proactive communication from them (other than bland, unhelpful standard emails after I have chased them) to tell me when they expect to be able to fulfil this order.

There seem to be plenty of other linens sellers on Amazon. I'd sincerely urge you to find an alternative to Linens Limited as they seem singularly incapable of getting any products to their buyers. Personally, I'll be buying my Christmas presents next year from the High Street.

I rely totally on Amazon's reviews therefore did not buy 400thread on Ebay as there are no reviews. A happy customer wrote, forget percale and all those lesser quality bedding, go for 400 thread Egyptian cotton and you will never look back. I thought I was buying one oxford pillowcase for £10, so imagine my delight when I opened the package, felt the softness and quality, shook the pillowcase out to find two, not one!! I have changed everything on my bed including my duvet and all the bottom sheets to 400 thread, its cost a lot, but I feel as though I have moved into a hotel at night. I love white bed linen, the duvet has a satin stripe through it, so it looks wonderful. I have opted for no cover, no more struggling with covers that bunch up the duvet in the corners etc., I will buy a flat fitted sheet to protect the duvet if necessary, but I have now got a perfect white linen bed, fur throw and am absolutely delighted. I read a couple of poor reviews, but my pillow cases have not bobbled or worn or snagged. Thank you that customer who took the time to write throw away percale!!! Yipee :)
