Fun with a line 30 Dec 2010
By BettyB
Format:DVD
This is a cartoon series that is great fun to watch for children of any age and adults. The stories involve a (often quite grumpy) man walking along, meeting different objects and obstacles on his path and interacting/dealing with them. Practically everything is drawn using just a single line. It might not sound very interesting but in fact I think this is one of the most original and interesting cartoons you could ever see. There is no real language spoken in the series, just a sort of funny pseudo (a bit Italian sounding) language that the man uses apart from gestures. It is a truly international cartoon that can be understood in any country in the world. The gestures, sounds and emotions used in it are universal. The cartoon is also very funny. I used to enjoy watching it as a child and was interested to see if my 8 years old son would like it. He loves it and thinks it is really funny. If you want to try something different from the usual children cartoons this is the one to try.
