I bought this for my kids, but ended up using it more myself.
The tone is excellent and clean and the power more than adequate.
The presets it has certainly make things easy and the ability to save some settings increase the enjoyment.
The headphone socket means that the kids can make their "music" and not annoy the neighbours and local cats.
All I need now is a new guitar......

I've had this amp for about a year and a bit now and can't see me changing any time soon. It's a robust little (15"x8") box that sounds great no matter what you're doing on it. You might want to forego bothering with an effects pedal for a while, as there's a bunch of nice effects built in (flange, phaser, tremolo, reverb, tape echo and sweep echo), the clean channel sounds fantastic for blues, jazz or country style playing and the insane channel is perfect for metal and will probably melt your face off. This amp is also incredibly loud considering its size and construction, so be careful adjusting those knobs. There's also a bunch of other nice features like a built-in tuner, the ability to save channel presets and a handy output socket that goes to your CD/MP3 player. I've got this thing set up next to my stereo and PC and its connected to both, as well as a Korg AX3000G effects pedal... basically, it's a keeper.

although iv tried a lot of other small amps this is definitely amongst the best. the built in tuner comes in handy, and the pre-set tones/effects are brilliant, although you can adjust the tones to your preferences. mighty loud for a 15 watt and not to forget... it looks pretty awesome. recommend it to guitarists of all levels. line 6 never fail to deliver!
