This is a potentially great product let down by by one astonishing design flaw. The Pod is attached to the mount by four rubber, round wedge shaped pegs which slot snugly into the holes on the back of the Pod. Unfortunately they are not permanently attached to the mount itself. In fact they are so unpermanent that I was scrabbling around on the floor looking for two of them before I had even attached the Pod for the first time. And every time I've taken it off since then, one of them has come adrift and rolled under a wardrobe or something equally inacessible.
I have yet to gig with it but I'd say that when I do the chances of me returning with all four rubber pegs are about a thousand to one. So its life has then virtually ended before it's even begun. I haven't checked out yet whether you can get replacement pegs - but I recommend having about 50 spares. The crazy thing is - it would have been simple to make these pegs a permanent, fixed part of the structure in which case I would have given it five stars.
Aside from the falling off pegs, the mount works extremely well. It tucks under a typical amp strap handle or fixes to a mike stand. At home or in the studio you can put it on a desk or table and it holds the Pod stable and at a perfect working angle. Now that I have it I will probably try and hand carve four wooden pegs which I can then screw permanently into the mount. But as much as a like the idea - I would never have bought it if I'd know about these silly pegs.
