Lindsey Fraser has been a Literary Agent with Fraser Ross Associates since 2002. Before that she was the Executive Director of Scottish Book Trust where she and her colleagues developed a range of acclaimed readership development initiatives including Beginning with Books, Radical Reading and Now Read On. She managed the children's book programme for the Edinburgh International Book Festival, is on the Steering Group for the Children's Laureate and is the Director of The Pushkin Prizes in Scotland, a creative writing initiative for young writers. She has reviewed children's books for many newspapers, including The Guardian, The Bookseller, The Scotsman and The Herald. Her first 'proper' job was in a bookshop and - as she sees it - she continues to sell books in a variety of different ways.
