Product Description

Product Description

The Lindo 931C is one of a brand-new range of 'Apprentice' Series acoustic guitars, created in the U.K by Lindo Guitars.

The 931C has been ultimately designed to be affordable and very playable, as well as having those subtle details and use of quality woods that make all Lindo guitars look and sound great. Tonewoods and Features

The 931C body and soundboard (top) is mahogany, which is then crafted into a compact cutaway shape to help provide a lovely warm tone as well as bright and punchy highs. A maple fingerboard then accompanies these warm tones with a catalpa neck and a vintage shaped headstock with a stylish gold Lindo logo.

A rosewood bridge and ABS saddle, along with an ABS nut, carry and control the tone of each string to a set of open-gear, smooth action chrome machine heads with ABS lozenge buttons. Simple and decorative, these machine heads not only ensure the guitar holds a perfect tune but finishes the design of with added detail.

The action on the 931C is really light and low so gives the guitarist the feeling of ease when playing and can help beginners when learning scales and chords. This is encouraged by the C-shaped neck profile which is extremely user-friendly for both strumming accompaniment and finger-style playing. The 931C also features a Venetian cutaway in the body, which allows for access further up the neck. It is also fitted a string-through maple bridge to make string changes quicker and easier.

The 931C has a dynamic balance across the neck and produces a generous amount of sound even with a slightly smaller body size. As well as the fine precision of the top end frequencies, the warm bottom end and rich mid tones will satisfy the most demanding of guitarists.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loving my Lindo! 6 Oct 2012
As a beginner guitarist I had no idea what to buy or where to buy it from so was looking for a reasonably cheap second hand guitar on Amazon to start with. I found this little beauty which was a great price for a brand new guitar I was told! Once ordered I very kindly received a call the next day from Lindo to confirm my order. Upon receiving my guitar i wondered if i fancied a different colour so emailed Lindo to ask about changing it, they very efficiently and very kindly gave me the link to a different colour and would happily have exchanged the guitars. I've found Lindo a very fair and friendly company and would recommend their guitars and service to anyone it's a great guitar and perfect for my new hobby!!!! Very happy!!!

I bought this guitar with the intention of having it as a spare, little to find it replacing my main guitar that I had actually spent notably more money on. This guitar does what is important right - it looks the part, it sounds the part, and it has excellent buiild quality. Commonplace with cheaper guitars are dodgy tuning heads, meaning that changing the tuning, or even just keeping the guitar in tune, is a pain. On this guitar, however, that it not a problem at all - the machine heads rotate smoothly and easily. Another great feature is this guitar being slightly smaller than usual means that if you are of a smaller build or are in your early teens you have a guitar that is comfortable to use whilst still providing an excellent sound. The action is also great, really comfortable to play, much more so than my previous guitar. If you are in the market for a cheaper guitar, you couldn't do better than this. Ticks all the boxes - if you're on the edge, I say go for it, you won't be dissapointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant price for a brilliant product! 3 Oct 2012

Bought this acoustic Lindo guitar because as a beginner I am finding the fret board on my classic guitar a little too big to handle the more difficult chords. I didn't have a lot of money to splash out so I was looking for a good bargain and I got one! Brilliant size for my petite self because while it is a full size it is only 39 inch which is that bit smaller than the 40 or 42 inch full size guitars I've seen.
It came promptly, very well packaged and in perfect condition. I was surprised at the quality and finish because of the low price I had paid. I would say the mahogany top is a little lighter in colour than it appears in the picture on here but I am still in love with the look. Took a few days for the steel strings to settle so the guitar stayed in tune but now they have it sounds clear and resonates well which is great! I find this guitar much easier to play than my classic and although I was concerned about switching from nylon to steel strings, because I heard they are harder to press down to hit the note, I've had no problem with these.
Over all a fantastic buy and I would certainly recommend this guitar to beginners or anyone looking for a good guitar for a great price!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic guitar for a beginner! 16 Jan 2014

I bought an electric guitar off a friend many years ago, played it twice and then left it to gather dust. Over Christmas my girlfried received a ukulele as a gift. This inspired me to pick up my old electric and give it a go. However, with the amp no where in sight, I began the search for an acoustic!

I, like thousands of others who have embarked on the guitar learning journey, have spent hour after hour trying to find the perfect beginner guitar. Unfortunately there is no right answer to this. Every comment on every forum will suggest something different. Some will say you can't get a good guitar for less than 300, nevermind 100. So feeling lost and confused I did the unthinkable and decided to look for a guitar on Amazon. It was here that I discovered the Lindo range. After reading the glowing reviews, viewing the impressive price tag and having a chat with the very friendly staff on the Lindo website, I took the plunge and placed my order.

Well, it's been a week now since I received my guitar (it was delivered within 24 hours of placing my order - impressive!) and I love it! It looks the part and sounds great! My fingers are sore but I am enjoying every minute of my learning, on my Lindo guitar.

So, if like me, you are confused on what to buy as your first guitar, give Lindo a look. Go to their website and have a chat with their very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They even gave me a call following delivery to check that everything was okay. You just don't get that kind of customer service anymore.

For 70, you'll be hard pressed to find a better beginner guitar. And if you don't like it? Not a problem. It comes with a 14 day, no questions asked, returns policy (not to mention a 1 year warrantee).
