We've had many lights and like them all to be honest for different reasons. This one? The fact it can be left on and will come on at dusk and off in the morning, apart from anything else is cost effective over time.
We've got 1 on the top landing outside the kids rooms and there is one in our room with the newborn, a lot of lights take the edge of the dark or are too bright but this is reassuring enough for the little ones and bright enough to not stumble around the room and walk into things!
Bulbs can be replaced (not sure where the other reviewer got his light if it was even a Lindam!) and they are available from most good online stores on indie stores like our local.

I wanted a light for our hallway so my daughter wouldn't get upset waking in the night (she looks out onto hallway) its perfect, I also am up a lot at night (have a newborn) and this is the perfect amount of light without being glaring or too dim.......worth every penny

I bought 2 of these lights and not bulbs have blown in just 3 months. As the you can't replace the bulbs these have had to have been thrown away. They were also not very sensitive to the daylight and took a long time to go off on their own so had to be turned on and off manually.
