Flexible folding flaps prevent material from gathering around seat belt straps. The Dual Head Support easily attaches around belt slots, inner and outer head support easily attach to fastners. Good while it fit, but our 4-week-old is now too big to use this. The newborn head insert was never used as it was too small, however it might fit a tiny baby (ours was 8lb at birth).
This is an excellent item as it grows with the baby and can be used in a multitude of situations. Also, being a neutral colour, it doesn't conlict with any decor/surroundins.
