The Lindam Bounce About Plus Door Bouncer is easy to work out although it takes a bit of practise to put the baby in and even more to get them out without a terrible tangle and temptation to call the fire brigade.
I bought this to replace the one we lost. Child number one loved it and bounced for hours, getting the hang of it immediately and grinning a grin as wide as a Cheshire cat. We were more paranoid about the doorframe in those days and put foam around the wood - totally unnecessary. Child number two (a girl this time) kind of liked it but not as much as the first. But I still wanted one for the third. She doesn't know what to make of it yet and tends to just hang around staring upwards looking slightly gormless. She kind of twists and turns a bit but definitely no bounces yet. She's happy though and grins just like my son did the first time round so in my book, that makes this a great buy.

This bouncer is great. Just taken it out of the box and put my 6 month old in it. He loves it! Very slightly awkward to get him in, but not bad at all, and certainly no worse than any other door bouncer. I think that other reviewers who rate it badly because of awkwardness have not used any others, it is just part of the design. We had the tigger door bouncer for my eldest, now 4, and we counldn't use it until he was about a year, as it has no sides or straps so he just flopped to the side in it. This one is very secure, fits baby perfectly, and will adjust as he grows. Wish I had bought this one first time round, but couldn't resist the tigger one, its very cute but not very practical.

I was a bit spectical about buying a door bouncer but took the plunge and we think it's great. Our son (currently 5 1/2 months old) absolutely loves it and merrily bounces away, 'chatting' to himself for a good 10 minutes at a go which gives me valuable time to sterilise bottles and a few quick chores done. Also, it amuses him whilst I am preparing his milk/food - which is invaluable when he's getting impatient. I found it easy to assemble and it works great. Yes, it can be a little tricky at first to put your baby into/out of it - but after a couple of times, it's easy and it's just a case of getting a hang of it. A few words of caution though, re any door bouncer - make sure that you have big doorway to put it in (ideally an arch between two rooms - we have the kitchen/dining room) as I have heard of babies hurting themselves by bouncing into the doorway edges and knocking themselves. Also, a baby should only apparently be in a bouncer for 10-15 minutes at a time - and then only once in the AM and once in the PM - as otherwise it can be too much strain on the legs/hips.

This is the best purchase I have made so far and the cheapest ;-)
My 4 month old son can bounce up to 2 hours per day on it, as soon as he wakes up after getting changed and fed he only want the bouncer! He is not interested in Graco Sweetpeace swing that i bought him what so ever which cost me a lot of money!
Please see the video to see how your baby could be enjoying themselfs if you decide to go ahead and purchase this!

I was not sure about these at first but my friends daughter has one so i took the plunge, its been great, my grandaughter loves it, she gets hours of fun from it, her legs are stronger as a result and boredom is a thing of the past.
The harness is well padded, the easy clip for door frames is so simple to use, it packs away quite small so went on holiday with us. and there is no safety risk i can see what so ever.

One of the best play items i have bought.

Highly Recommended

BEWARE PARENTS THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS AND BADLY DESIGNED PRODUCT!

THE BLUE HANGAR PART HAD SHARP SERRATED PLASTIC BURRS UNDER THE INNER PART OF THE BLUE HANGAR WHICH WERE NOT FILED SMOOTH IN THE PRODUCTION OF THIS ITEM, THEREFORE CAUSING IT TO CUT MY BABY'S FACE JUST UNDER HIS EYE. IT COULD HAVE EASILY BEEN HIS EYE AS WELL AS MY FINGER.

I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT IN MAY 2010 AND IT IS NOW OCTOBER 2011 AND HIS FACE STILL HAS A SCAR ON IT. IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO GET YOUR BABY IN AND OUT OF THE BOUNCER WITHOUT THE HELP OF AT LEAST 2 OTHER PEOPLE TO AVOID HITTING HIS HEAD ON THE BLUE HANGAR PART. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT LINDAM ARE UNHELPFUL AND OFFERED MY BABY £25 COMPENSATION. WHAT A JOKE! AVOID THIS PRODUCT!!!

HOW TO PUT THE BABY IN (this is what I found after a few fussy attempts):
1. Set the door bouncer up but make sure the seat part is open (ie. the velcro is undone).
2. Put the baby on your shoulder (as if you're burping them) while you crouch down in front of the bouncer.
2. Slide their legs into the bouncer then sit them straddling your leg while you do up the straps.

The fact that I've had to work out a system to get my daughter in and out should say something about how easy it is (or isn't...!) to get them in. It's rather like putting them in a baby carrier so if you can manage that, you can manage this. She does look hilarious in it and it keeps her entertained for ages though.

I`ve bought this item yesterday for my 5mths old baby. positive side: she absolutely loves it, every time she`s in it she has this big smile and cheeky look all over her face, she loves to swing and bounce in it and tap her feet on the floor. Negative side: I have to constantly watch her and keep my hands on either side of the door frame otherwise she`d bang her head against it every minute. And I mean literally you can`t take your eyes off of her not even for a second because the next thing she pushed her self up sideways straight into the door frame. We live in a new house so door size is standard single door I suppose. If we had had a double frame to hang it from it would have been way better. So this results in me getting dizzy from watching her after just 5-10 minutes so not a chance for me to do anything while she has fun on her own.On top of that I find it very difficult to get her in and out of it.She bangs her head against the blue thing that holds the spring and it`s a real adventure to keep her still and upright. But this I could cope with if the baby were safe in it.I wouldn`t recommend it to people who have not got a large or double sided doorway so there`s plenty of space for the baby to move around.
