Because this came with no instructions I thought I would write some out for folks thinking about tinting your own windows. Firstly you will need some items...1,A very sharp blade i.e. scalpel or razor blade...2,spray bottle of soapy water (washing up liquid will do fine) about the same amount of washing up liquid you would normally use when washing pots in the sink...3,Rubber squeegee, I had one on my ice scraper I got from my local petrol station...4,Pair of scissors. Ok now you have all your items to hand start by using the scissors to cut a piece of vynl roughly to size making sure it is over-sized for the window, peel off the backing plastic (this can be tricky but it is there I scraped a bit of the tint away with a scalpel to get it started), as you peel off the backing plastic spray the soapy water onto the tint sticky side and also onto the window which you should have cleaned first, place the tint sticky side onto the window so it is soap against soap then position it, it should slide into place or you can peel it off and reposition it, once it's on the window spray the tint with the soapy water and starting from the middle of the window (not the bottom or top) and using a good amount of pressure squeegee out the soapy water, I find it easiest to draw the shape of the Union Flag, finally using your scalpel or razor blade carefully trim off the excess tint and that's all there is to it...good luck Boshy...

This film is a ordinary wrapping plastic which are used in warehouses . The seller is very dishonest ,cruel to sell such fake staff to public . films arrived late , no instruction and no 3M film . I got a peace of ordinary black colour wrapping plastic. I was deceived .Red alert to this dangerous seller.

Only issue was that the package was slightly damaged with a small piercing ( 1 inch wide) which caused damage to the first couple of layers of the Film

Be warned that the advert clearly states that the film is 3M but it is not. When questioned about this the seller becomes very defensive.

The film was applied to my van by ourselves and also by a trained window tinter who concurs that this is not 3M and is not fit for purpose.

Excellent product and good value, easy to apply after a bit of practice, not just for car windows either, did my kitchen windows so now don't need blinds for privacy.

Good cheap film but I can't seem to fit this film without leaving many fine scratches to the material but this cant be seen from the outside. And very difficult to form to a rear window even after several attempts but at this price I'm prepared to keep trying till I get it right. Good stuff
