Despite what the previous reviewer said, this is truly a tremendous soundtrack to yet another fantastic film from Disney. I don't even recall Jessica Simpson's cover being in the film, so quite why it is surprising to have been omitted from the album is unclear!
We Brits get one up on our American counterparts - while they get the Elvis Presley original of "Suspicious Minds" (which by rights should be in any self-respecting audiophile's collection already!), we get Gareth Gates's quite superb cover. I'm all for remixes and new versions of classic songs, and this album is simply brimming with them. Top notch - look out, in particular, for the jazzed up version of "Can't Help Falling in Love", taken from the film's end credits.
I can't recommend this title highly enough...

Like the film it is a very lighthearted and fun soundtrack. The music has a certain pick you up quality to it. And it's hard not to sing along. The Hawaiian tracks, are fun to listern to and I've yet to come across someone who doesn't like Elvis. Its a good soundtrack in total. But unfortunately if you have alot of Elvis stuff, you might wanna give this a miss. As it does make up the bulk of the CD.

Disney have an amazing history of making films that appeal to a whole range of people.
Lilo and Stitch (both film and soundtrack) is one of the best examples of Disneys commitment to Walts dream. I am not a massive fan of Elvis (or atleast I wasn't till I saw this film) and even I was amazed with the way they did the OST. It ranks alongside Little Mermaid and Cars.
So ignore the negative comments, because they do not matter. Buy the film and sountrack and immerse youself in the true meaning of 'ohana (extended family).

If you like Elvis this soundtrack is great. The only bad thing on it is one of the cover versions on it that sounds pretty awful. The two songs done by the choir are fantastic and really uplifting.
Regardless of what previous people have said I doubt very much that Elvis is trying to promote this CD for himself seeing as he is dead.
