This LCD monitor is great value for money and provides good picture quality with high brightness. Although I have only used the composite input so far I have been pleased with field tests and this unit provides a light weight option for colour field monitoring.

I made the mistake of not ordering the hot shoe adaptor which is an optional extra but really is a necessity if you want to camera-mount the monitor.

The benefit of an internal re-chargeable battery is also much appreciated when away from mains power sources.

I bought this direct after reviewing here, this is a decent bit of kit and does what I want mounted adjacent to my Canon 60D

I almost returned this, so glad I didn't. The instructions supplied are less than useless, but the product itself is perfect for my needs, now that I have sussed it out, so you may need to be patient unless you happen to know exactly how to use one of these.

I use is with both my Nikon camera's, sometimes attached to the flash fitting and sometime handheld depending on the situation. With age comes creaking bones, this product allows me to get my camera in great places that the creaking bone object to, the Lilliput allows me to see what my camera sees without having to position myself such that I wonder if I am ever going to get up from that position. In addition to which the larger screen allows me to see exactly what the image will look like before I shoot. The Screen offer good resolution, the hood supplied assists in the viewing during bright light and now I know which buttons to press and the fact that I do have to wait until the system has calibrated with the camera, I'm really pleased with it. The bonus for me is the inclusion of the battery and the fact that the battery can be charged within the system itself; no need for an additional charger or the expense of having to purchase a battery in order to use the product, making it good value for money.

This provides a good picture quality for a low price. I use it with my Canon 550D and it works very well as an external monitor for video - although users should be aware that due to the way the 550D and some similar Canon devices output during recording the monitored view compresses vertically and stretches horizontally whilst the red dot shows. I've only given this four stars because I think it's actually a bit fussy to use and the supplied sunshade is next to useless. Buy the Koolertron 7" sunshade and attach this using the supplied velcro to the useless shade and the item is near perfect. Really should ship with the big 'shade!

this is a fantastic monitor, I've been using it on my rasberrypi and it's awesome. The only problem is that my eyesight isn't very good so in 1080p I get headaches quickly in console mode, but as a video display it is clear and extremely bright.
