University student, Rachel has been friends with Barb since they belonged to the Zodiac Club in high school. It made sense that they would become roommates when they went to university. Rachel and Barb have never been anything but best friends. Now Rachel begins to feel more for Barb, in fact, she's fallen in love with her. There is a few problems with this though. Barb is dating Carla. Plus Rachel would not want to lose Barb's friendship by admitting her feelings if the truth came out. What will Rachel do?

Barb is in an open relationship with Carla. This isn't quite to Barb's liking, but the sex is brilliant.That is until Carla pulls a stunt which makes Barb disillusioned with their relationship, then Barb's thoughts turn elsewhere. But in which direction?
The situation comes to a head when Rachel tells Barb she has made a decision. What has Rachel decided?

Although I enjoyed this story and it is well written, it is definitely not the novella length I expected for the money I paid. It is more short story length. So, I am disappointed.

The author of the magnificent Rymellan stories or the enchanted Threaded through Time offers here a very, very short romance (definitely not a novella) which does IMO not come close to her usual power of story telling.
