Bought this on a strong recommendation and a quick listen on MP3 from a work colleague. When loading up and listening to it at home I must admit it is a grower. Also makes me regret having outed all those Spritualised CD's I felt I'd never play again. I also think they are on a similar kick to the Wooden Shjips? Well worth what was paid.

So here's the second album by Quest for Fire and I think it's better, more mature.
There's less stoner QOTSA like riffs, more psychedelia, it's mood what count's the most.
The only problem I have with the album is the packaging - it's a slim digipak, the worst type of them all.

I found a review for this CD and thought they sounded interesting. After listening to tracks online I was entranced. Whilst the influences are Pink Floyd meets rock, they manage to create a sound that is all of their own. I immediately bought their first album. Whilst they are Canadian, it is hard to beliebve they are not from London circa 1974
