Product Description
These battery operated LED multi action fairy lights with 20 multi coloured bulbs are perfect for table decorations and festive displays. They are made from high quality LED bulbs and come complete with an integrated 8 function speed controller which requires just 3 x AA batteries.
Great for parties, festivals, events, Christmas decorations including garlands and wreaths, they are perfectly safe as they remain cool to the touch and are ideal for use with fabrics.
With 1.9 metres of lights and a 45cm lead wire from the battery box, these suit slightly larger floral and table decorations where twinkling or chasing battery operated Christmas lights are required. You can also choose a static function if twinkling isn't your preferred choice.

These lights are excellent. They run off a battery pack that allows them to be used just about anywhere - even as part of a festive outfit or costume! You can also drape them over or around things, or put them on a small Christmas tree. No fuss. Very safe and use very little power so the batteries last for ages. As they are LEDs they don't even get warm, but they are lovely and bright and colourful.
The battery compartment has a little button that you press to switch between the different modes, like flash, steady and chase etc. Excellent!
Lights4Fun were also superb. Order arrived very quickly, no problems at all.

I've just bought four sets of these lights as I wanted to put some festive lights in my windows but don't have enough convenient plug sockets and didn't really want trailing extention leads all over the place.
I agree with the previous review, they look lovely and bright, are great quality and the range of effects is a bonus, though personally I only use two settings. There is also an 'off' button ( I wasn't actually sure there would be!) so you can save battery power if you don't want them on during the day.
The cable is clear, which helps it blend better with whatever you are fixing the lights to.
The length is just right for my needs as I only wanted to run them along the bottom of my windows, but I'm sure they would look stunning entwined in Christmas wreaths or garlands, stair bannisters, along mantlepieces etc, or even in a clear vase. I can't comment on the battery life as I haven't had them long enough, but I've used them for a week, putting them on every evening since dusk for about 7 hours and they're still going.
Definately recommend these lights, but I suggest you buy them directly from the lights4fun website, as P&P is much lower.

Having used them for two Christmases now, I'm not quite so happy with these and would probably now say 'buy with caution'. Out of my four sets only two are still working, and the plastic battery covers on all four sets don't fit properly. I've contacted Lights4fun directly but have had no response (surprise suprise.)

bought these lights to use on little tree outside. the battery life is excellent. the lights offer a variety of settings and look really good. covered the battery holder just to give some protection from rain, snow, frost etc. all in all a good buy.

ok for mininal short term usage
very small lites which are only really suitable for a table display or a 'oneoff' occasion as they are battery operated hence power drainers. Read more
