I bought this because I needed a practical way of carrying a laptop and some overnight luggage (fairly light) on regular work trips. I wanted something that would reduce the strain on my back and knees when walking from train stations to my destination, and negotiating all the stairs at stations and venues. The idea of a light weight bag which doubled as both a ruck sack and a wheeled case, and the practical ideas of tuck away shoulder straps and wheels, seemed perfect for me. The case arrived last week, was used twice, and has been returned. The first time I used it, I only used the wheels, because I didn't need to navigate stairs. The second time, I had to get across London using two different trains and a tube - I wasn't staying overnight, so the case only contained my laptop, charger and about 60 sheets of A4 paper - but the clip into which the shoulder strap fits to allow the case to be used as a rucksack broke. This meant the rucksack function of the bag was instantly useless. The clip was made of low grade plastic, and was quite brittle, so it had snapped very easily.
The wheel function was pretty good, to be fair - light and easy to pull, fairly stable, and quiet on all surface types.
A great idea, pretty good design, spoiled by poor quality components.
