A round daylight lamp with glass lens. The 22 watt fluorescent tube allows you to view colours accurately anytime day or night, as well as smaller objects day or night. The tube provides a consistent shadow-free light source, is energy saving and has low heat emmission which means that you can work for longer in comfort. Ideal for the occasional user as well as the professional, Lightcraft is excellent for nail art and filing, beauty, airbrushing, as well as many craft and hobby applications including sewing, reading and even jewellery making.

This lamp has a long reach spring balanced arm for domestic and industrial applications including jewellers, dressmakers, beauticians and other crafts where light and magnification is a necessity. Magnification is via a 125mm diameter dioptrex lens (3 dioptre) with 1.75 times magnification. The three position hinged arm can be locked in any one or all three positions. Supplied complete with desk clamp, mini round 22W daylight tube and fitted UK plug.

Very quick delivery, was here in no time at all and the magnifier lamp is great, was going to cut the lid that covers the magnifier off but after using it, its a great help when you just want an over the top focus light, great quality for the price and comes with a daylight bulb into the bargain has not all of the ones i looked at had the daylight bulb all ready installed and on this model shielded buy a plastic guard, very neat.

I bought this specifically for bead weaving using tiny seed beaads. It is great for needle threading and of course for sewing throught the beads.
An added bonus............it doesn`t get hot.
It is easy to move out of the way when not required and then quickly return for use.
