    Fun:
I bought the light sword twin pack together with Lego Star Wars for the Wii for my Boyfriend's birthday - Lego Star Wars is great fun and even I enjoy playing it but I was a bit disappointed with the light swords. They do not glow as brightly as I had hoped (I even changed the batteries to brand new lithium) and they do not make a noise from the actual unit only on the game.

For the price I would have hoped for more.

Does improve the game a little when you are a jedi character (which is not always).

    Fun:
Unlike the other reviews... I quite liked these. Sure they're "just" plastic, and have no affect on game play, but if you like the look of them, get them. I bought a pair for my 4 year old, who loves the Lego Star Wars game, and he LOVES them... In fact we play with them quite a lot without the controllers being attached, or the Wii being switched on!

Waste of money 18 Mar 2009
    Fun:
Next to pointless! My 7 year old, who loves Lego Star Wars game, used it for 5 seconds, took it off, and said "No thanks, Daddy"! Yes you fit your wii controller to the light saber and switch it on, great! But only to find out that you can no longer use the 'pointing' of the remote! My son swings the control to operate the character on screen (fighting with light saber for example) but cannot do that any more with this attached, can only use the buttons instead. I thought the whole point of wii was the playability and the alternative to pressing buttons. My recommendation - find a saber that doesn't stop the remote operating!

Pointless item! I have received 2 blue light swords and not one red and one blue as stated. Also do not actually need the swords to play game. Very disappointed.

It stops Remote control to work
It stops the sensor of Wii remote. Better other products where the remote control is put one step below, so to have a clear way.
