Bought this as a 2nd backup battery to the genuine Nikon EN-EL3e for a D90. I tested them both on a scale and battery analyser: the genuine Nikon weighs 80g and tests at 1530mAh, this Lig0sh weighs 50g and tests at 1050mAh. So it holds less charge than the genuine battery, but it is also significantly lighter.
In camera you do notice the reduced weight also the picture count drop over the genuine battery is not very noticeable in use. Good performance for £7. Buy it.

I recently lost my spare battery for my Nikon D90 and was looking for a good quality spare but didn't want to pay Nikon prices. There are a variety of these around both on Amazon and Ebay with quite differing reviews. I took the plunge and ordered this one and am really pleased I did. It came within 3 days of ordering and was great value for money. Charges up just like my original Nikon and early tests show that will last at least as long as the original. Very pleased with my purchase and saved quite a bit of money too.

The battery cannot be fully charged. and what little charge is added is soon leaked away.
If I could have given zero stars, then even that would have been too much.

no need to buy nikon
bought as a back up battery for a trek to Everest Base camp, charged it fully and depleted it fully before taking it as advised by a previous reviewer and it lasted for ages. Read more

Can't fault this little baby. Took a whole weekend of photos (400+) at a wedding and batt still shows 50% charge. Splendid item for the price.
