This book is well written and encourages children to join in and interact with the lift the flaps. My class have thoroughly enjoyed hearing me read this story to them over and over again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun ! 23 Mar 2011
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I love the illustrations and the fact all pages are very rich in details and pop ups to raise the little one's interest . I found the pop ups quite interactive, full of things for kids to look for ( ex. my daugher ( 3y.o) loves to look for the mouse hidden somewhere ... and to count and say whose cups , forks , etc belong to each bear ) it's nice how many of them have a double drawing ( ex. one side she lies on Mummy's bear bed , with a grumpy face ... other side she lies on baby bear's bed , all asleep ) and they also match the text well. And I find Goldilocks' dreadlocks really cute too, nice version of the classic image !!!

A fantastic book, my 2 year old daughter loves it and says the words along with me. The lift the flaps are good fun and we enjoy spotting all the little details. I shall look into buying more in the same series.

5.0 out of 5 stars so much fun 21 Sep 2007
Format:Paperback
my 3 year old son loves this nearly as much as me!
the rhyme and rhythm work really well and mean that our son has learnt the last few words of each stanza.
it is a fun modern version of the old tale.
highly recommended - particularly if you like doing funny voices too!
