These tablets are specifically designed to disinfect and make safe water which may have not been treated to drinking water standards, for example bottled water from an unknown origin or water from raw sources which has been previously filtered etc and still requires disinfection to make it safe.
We find these tablets particularly useful in treating bottled water when travelling in developing countries, where it gives you an extra level of protection and peace of mind. They come with manufacturers instructions and are easy and simple to use -they come in a small pack which fits perfectly into a pocket. Would recommend without reservation.
