This lamp is extremely easy on the eyes. The colour temperature at 6500k. is ideal for use on the table with a computer. My wife and I are so impressed that we are now looking for the floor standing model. At the time of writing this Amazon are temporarily our of stock, so I expect we shall have to wait. Elsewhere they are £10 dearer.

My father-in-law is 89 and has poor eyesight.
We noticed that he always tilted his books to catch light coming through a window.
Once we had bought this lamp and he had put it on his desk, he was able to read and work easily again.
Even at 89, he was able to assemble it himself.
Very even light, brilliant as a desk / work lamp. Better than my ancient anglepoise.
I intend to get one for myself now.

This came really well packaged and was simple to put together.It's well balanced ,sturdy and has a contemporary look. Best of all the light is perfect both as a desk lamp and as a bed side light. It is so user friendly that I bought another for my son's room. The low wattage means that it's cheap to use too.Perfect!!!
