This is an excellent book. I was into detoxing and raw foods, along with mental/emotional work, in the 1970s and 1980s, and have at long last returned to this very energizing lifestyle with the help of Amanda and Sandy's book. I didn't want to go through the rigours of juice fasting without working with a professional, and my husband is new to this concept, so didn't want to freak him out! This is an effective and easy alternative. We have used the program once, and feel much, much better than before, with a few unwanted pounds lost in the bargain. The recipes are excellent - they are extremely health-promoting, and delicious enough to serve to guests. You've GOT to try the carrot/butternut squash soup!!! My only regret is that they haven't produced a BIG cookbook with a lot more recipes just like these!!!! Both aspects of the book, the nutritional and the mental/emotional, are top-notch.
