2.0 out of 5 stars Oh dear 11 July 2011
By Sarah
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I really didn't want to leave a negative review as the author is donating half the proceeds to a charity.
Its a short rescue tale from a dogs point of view that i have read many many times in different guises but the principle is the same, dog is abused, dog gets saved, dog lives happily ever after or in this case has to be PTS in later life because the owners can't afford veterinary fees (that didn't leave a good taste in my mouth i can assure you!).
The story is far too rushed it doesn't flow it jerks, the author wrote this story in a few hours of which is evident.
If you'd like to donate to a rescue and would like something for your trouble then buy this short book, i'd be embarassed if i wrote this and was only donating half the proceeds as its not worthy otherwise of its 88pence price tag and the author should be donating all proceeds in my opinion.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good 29 May 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I think this had amazing potential, but I think the fact it was short really restricted it. It was a very informative , quick read and definitely allowed me to empathise with the character. Also this book helped me to begin to come to the reality of the fact dogs are out there today, being abused and neglected but also saved and re-homed, even if they don't get another house with another family.

It is just a pity that only the good humans would be the ones who would read this and not the inhuman sort of scum that really should see things from the dogs angle. Read more
