One would think that after having produced one of the most successful self-awareness and self-help programs of all time (the "Attacking Anxiety and Depression" program), and having seen that program go on to be used by countless individuals, not to mention doctors and mental health organizations, Lucinda would rest on her laurels. But Lucinda hasn't - she never stops! She keeps growing and coming up with wonderful and inspiring ways to view life, difficult situations, and to cultivate self-esteem.
Perhaps the most striking thing about this book is the revelation by Lucinda that she, whose programs, books, and seminars have been effectively utilized by many clinical institutions and major corporations (McDonalds, Chrysler, AT&T), is always guided by her intuition. This stuck me as interesting because so often intuition is thought of as untrustworthy, irrational, and unreliable; yet Lucinda's work is consistent, rational, effective, and well respected by many established and reputable persons and institutions. Lucinda tells the reader that when you become more respectful of your intuition, or "gut feelings," you can often bring into your life a sense of synchronicity that you can then utilize to help gain your heart's desire - whether it be inner peace, a new car, a new job, or a more understanding relationship with family members. Thus, this book adds deeper insight and dimension to a topic that has always been present in Lucinda's work - spirituality.
Authors and speakers who are as knowledgeable as Lucinda can sometimes come across as being a little patronizing, a little better-than-though, but Lucinda almost comes across as being a friend. The information in this book can and does stand on its own, but Lucinda has a wonderful way of presenting the information. She's just one of those people who has a gift to make you feel like you know her. She comes across as very down-to-earth, humble, and caring.
I really like this book!

I really like this book!
At first I thought every bad example was me! What an uplifting author, she helped me see there are two sides to me even the not so great traits can lead me to success. I found myself wanting to get rid of the "noise" in my life. What matters? What is my purpose? What makes me happy and fulfilled?
The whole book is a call to WATCH. Watch, look and listen to our own body, mind and spirit.
Chapter 3 is exceptional. Many books have hook chapters in the beginning of the book then kind of disintegrate...not this book. The last chapter is as powerful as the first.
The writing style is concise and easy to understand; the techniques are strightforward and proactive.
