bought this when the fancy rise and sink plunger plug on our new spa bath broke, we would have to rip the whole bath out to replace it and the warrenty had just run out!. We found this as an alternative and it works fine in a bath or butler sink and even fits over the waste disposal. so I suggest the other reviewers read the measurements on the other plugs and get smaller ones for thier sinks!

Regrettably I didn't read the earlier review, and have proceeded to waste £7 having decided to purchase 2. As the earlier reviewer makes clear, these are just way too big and I have no idea what size sinks the Lifesystems people are aiming for with this product, but its nigh on useless to those of us used to standard sized sinks, rather than the industrial variety at Lifesystems. Steer clear unless you have a sink the size of a juggernaut.

I had originally bought another (smaller) universal sink product from Lifesystems, which I had lost. So I bought this product thinking it was the same thing. How wrong I was!
Whereas my old product was small, compact and fitted nicely in my toiletry bag, this product is like an oversized femidom! Worse still, it's so big that it doesn't work very well in small sinks, where it simply doesn't snugly fit over the plug.
So I wouldn't recommend this product, but do highly recommend the smaller universal sink plugs that Lifesystems produce.

great size foe belfast sink
good large size for belfast type sink - ordering another for stand by! seems heavy duty and does not move around in sink.

Doesn't do what it's supposed to!
I bought this to use in a Belfast sink which we use as a tadpole/frog pond. Even when the sink is full of water, downward pressure DOES NOT keep the plug in place - it moves easily... Read more
