Review

"'Life Talk covers everything of importance, including delicate subjects which are sometimes hard to talk about. It's absolutely wonderful! One part even made me cry and is helping me deal with a personal issue.' N. L., mother of teenagers 'Dads should read it too. We often don't know what to talk to our daughters about and Life Talk really helped me to open up channels of communication with my 20-year-old daughter.' D.G., single father 'I've read it from cover to cover and it's brilliant. All teenage girls will benefit from Life Talk. The content is so useful, even for me!' M. B., headmistress 'Life Talk is an amazing contribution to wellness in its broadest sense. It helps and identifies for people many pathways to health and vitality. The emotional wisdom contained in this book is a must for every young (and not so young) person. I certainly will be recommending this book to my clients and patients.' Dr Rajen Cooppan"

5.0 out of 5 stars A Good Read, 16 April 2007
This review is from: Life Talk for a Daughter: Emotional Wisdom and Practical Survival Skills on 60 of Life's Most Significant Issues (Paperback)
I am a magistrate and stepmother to a son and daughter as well as a (young) grandmother to three, one of which is just entering their teens. This little gem of a book has been helping me raise some issues with the young adults and children alike, and also in helping me to understand how the younger mind works. In summary this is a book that should be read by young and old to gain understanding of the youth of today. Written in a non-judgementsl and non-preachy manner it is loaded with tips to help avoid some of lifes pitfalls. Thank you
