I love Dr. "Tell it how it is" Phil McGraw. Over the years I have read many books and articles, and watched many tv programmes with professionals who say they will change your life, but for me, Dr Phil is the only one who actually makes sense! This workbook, used in conjunction with his "Life Strategies" book is to get you thinking about your life and where you want to take it. He doesn't have the answers, he doesn't tell you he has. He tells you that you hold the key to your own success, and shows you how to find what is holding you back by identifying hidden anxieties and hang-ups. Some exercises are just ticks on a page, others make you think back to earlier years and write down specific memories. All exercises are designed to make you think about yourself in a true light - warts and all - and to use this information to build the kind of life you want. Although completing the book is time consuming, I am sure that most people will find it well worth the effort.
