well...i watched it twice in the same week.....so it's kinda obvious that I like it

ok...well i watched this for the first time with my mum on sky movies...sky movies, when they don't have a block buster to put on sky première plonk in a random indie film that I never saw advertised in the UK...being the sort of 'down with conformity!' teen that I am. I watch them whenever I can...and quite frankly most of the time I am disappointed.
However this is one of those exceptions. I was delighted with this film, the comedy was excellent with unpredictable non-cliché comedy. The tour group itself was a funny group of realistic misfits....from an arguing posh-sounding couple to a kleptomaniac granny :) The bus driver/hero (post shaven) was gorgeous enough to send my girly teenage hormones a-flutter. The main heroine was clumsy and just a little bit nuts. Fantastic scene shots, nice non-cheesy music and overall a charming not too serious film. Also the good guys win :) what more could you want?
It would be a nice addition to your dvd collection simply because its different, sure it could be classed as a rom-com but i think its more than that, simply because most rom-coms make me knaw my legs off in sheer boredom. Whilst this one kept me entertained enough to make me want to watch it twice.
Seeing as im poor I cant buy it yet...but im going to as soon as i can :)

I saw this on TV recently, with no expectations, only to find an extremely enjoyable little comedy, with a dash of romance. It's gentle comedy, though. Sure, it has its occasional silly moment, but if you're wanting a laugh-a-minute riot, then you'll be disappointed. This is simply a feel-good smile-inducing film, to relax with on a tired evening. It's not the greatest thing you'll ever see, and it's often clichéd and not especially original (hence the 4 rather than 5 stars), but the overall product is a pleasant and happy one, that you won't regret if you enjoy this type of film.
***BLU RAY BUYERS BEWARE***
Unlike many U.S. import Blu Rays, this one IS region locked (Something I usually check, but didn't with this). I made the mistake of buying this Region 1 Blu Ray, only to find that I couldn't play it. Remember, you'll only be able to watch this if you have an American Blu Ray player, or one of the rare machines out there that can play both regions. (Remember, this is a different issue to your player being multi-region for normal DVDs)
It's a shame there isn't a Region 2 Blu Ray, as I'll have to live with the standard DVD now.

I have been on these group tours throughout Europe and what you see in this film with the different characters, the problems and mishaps is right on the mark in package tour travel in this heartwarming comedy set in beautiful Greece. Filming all around the city of Athens and the ancient sites of Olympia and Delphi, you'l feel like you're on tour watching this movie. And if you enjoyed the comedy If It's Tuesday, This must Be Belgium from 1969 then you should love this comedy of errors on group tour travel also.
