I bought this for my 7 year old daughter - she quickly mastered it and has learnt how to earn lots of money/credits to ensure that she can always buy herself out of hospital -she thinks its great.I like the way it has encouraged my daughter to read and deal with numbers in order to progress in the game. I like the way that you can buy add ons at little cost to extend the experience. Does anybody know where to buy all the other addons like Hannah Montana and others?

Bought this for my Daughters 7th Birthday & she loves it, as she loves girlie things, clothes etc & is dead easy to use & simple enough language that she can read it herself.
Getting hold of the games for this machine is another issue. It doesn't tell you on the box that you have to buy the games seperate & hardly anyone stocks them even though they sell the console?? My 10 year old wanted this for ages, but I refused to buy it due to the poor reviews. However, it was on offer for just under £18.00 here, and she bought it herself.
She absolutley loves the game, and has spent hours playing with it. The problem I can see, is that if you don't manage to keep the character's needs just right, you end up in the hospital and need to buy medicine, which if you have no credits for, can only be bought by buying the additional cartridges.
The cartridges expand the play value, and you can get the 4 pack for £4.49 from Amazon. The problem is that there are 12 packs and you are sent them at random, so the only way you know what you'll get, is when it turns up, and it may be one you already have!
Argos do the two pack for £5, and you have the option for reserving and viewing before paying, which is probably the only way you'll get additional cartridges of different numbers.

Just to let any one know I bought this for my little sister and ordered AA batteries at the same time. However the actual packaging says you need AAA batteries!
