Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, burst onto the professional wrestling scene in the late seventies and went on to become a world wrestling champion many times over. I couldn't disagree more with the negative reviews on this book. Hogan is just getting his side of the story across. It's a fascinating insight into his life past and present. It's also in some way, a self-help book without the confusing messages. Hogan has had a rough time from the media and this is his way of setting the record straight. One of the best books I've read in years and I read cover-to-cover in one sitting. Highly recommended.

As the title claims, this book does not talk much about his wrestling career.
Too much time is spent painting a picture of how horrible (Linda) his now ex-wife is. If you watched Hogan Knows Best" you already know about the relationship and how things fell apart for this family. Hogan of course blaims everyone but himself for things not working. This family had many issuses and I think Hulk is as much to blame as his wife. Hogan does speak of some events that were not shown on the tv show, but is it reality or is it as REAL as Hulks wrestling matches?
If you want to read about things that happened between Hulk and other wrestlers or Vince and the WWE, you will not enjoy this book.
If you want to hear Hulk point the blame at his wife for his life being a mess, then spend your money on this book.

Didn't expect to be wowed by this, but was quite pleasantly surprised. It was an interesting read - certainly better than "Hollywood Hulk Hogan" from a few years ago. As the title states, this contains quite a lot of non wrestling content, for example about his son's car accident and subsequent jail time - something that wasn't really big news this side of the Atlantic and the breakdown of his marriage (there's a few knives in Linda's back here!) but has enough to keep the wrestling die hard fans entertained too.
I think if you are a Hulk fan, you will probably like this book. Hardcore wrestling purists - maybe not so much.

hogan spits it out
Hulk hogan is a man accused of many things , being a mixer of fact is one of those things and his first book is far from the very truth, this book feels just that little bit more... Read more
