4.0 out of 5 stars Absorbing reading, 15 Nov 1999
By A Customer
Having always been a fan of Donny Osmond since the early 70s, I had my eyes well and truely opened when I read this book. It was well written and an absorbing read that took you behind the "image" looking inside the man, his achievements, his ideals and his weaknesses. My partner (who I might add was never an Osmond fan) also read this book and couldn't put it down either!

5.0 out of 5 stars A must for every Osmond fan, 28 Nov 2000
By A Customer
This is a truly inspirational book, Donny takes us through the joy and heartache of his childhood, growing up in the shadow of his famous brothers only to get caught up in the showbiz whirl, while still wanting to remain a child himself. To the heady days of the 70s when he was on nearly every teenage girls bedroom wall. He talks with great love and passion for his wife and his family and the anxiety of his social phobia during his triumphant return to acting in 'Joseph'. It really is a must for every Osmond fan, it shows a side of Donny we never knew existed.

5.0 out of 5 stars I've known Donny for over 20 years and I STILL learned a lot, 9 Jun 1999
By A Customer
I first met Donny Osmond in 1978 and I've had the priviledge of interviewing him for a magazine article which had as its focus his role as a father and husband. In 1983 I started working for his brother Alan, so I thought this book would just be a fun review of the family I thought I knew everything about. Wow! Did I learn a lot, and I really understand more clearly now who Donny Osmond really is. I've always thought he was kind, gracious, and generous man, but my respect for him has grown a hundredfold after reading his book. Whether you think you like him or not, I hope you'll take the opportunity to see Donny, and the entire Osmond family, in a new, more meaningful light. One of the best biographies I've ever read.
