Product Description

Pete, Tom, David, Claire and Jay are a tight-knit group of friends who share neighbouring flats in London after recently graduating from university. As they hang out, throw parties and navigate the new responsibilities of adult life, romantic tensions begin to stir beneath the surface. When Jay begins a relationship with the much older Bobby (played by EastEnders star Paul Nicholls) and Pete goes on a quest to discover the meaning of life, the true meaning of their friendship is put to the test.

Writer/Director Alex Barrett s insightful and refreshing look at twentysomething-life sets a new standard for British independent filmmaking.

2.0 out of 5 stars Life just is 6 Feb 2013

This film just did not seem to get going. Maybe it has more relevancy if you are at university yourself. It revolves around small events to begin with. I was watching with 3 other people and they were fidgeting after about an hour. We never saw the end. I blame the viewers not the film.

5.0 out of 5 stars A subtle gem 13 Dec 2012
Format:DVD|Amazon Verified Purchase
I loved this film, it's intelligent and gently thought-provoking in an understated way. It's all about the characters and most people could find one to connect with, albeit in their youth. One could say nothing much happens, yet it's never boring, full of genuinely interesting characters and the leisurely development of their friendships and lives. A film that you can relax into and simply enjoy for what life really just is, or contemplate the deeper aspects of our so called ordinary lives....it's up to you.
