Messers Rashbrook and Brookes have a real knack of making the things that can get knotted up as simple and pure as they should be. This is a must-have for anyone who wants to know how the life that Jesus promised can be understood and lived today, not just as a philosophical exercise, but in the practical and every day. If you always suspected that Christianity should have been working from the inside out rather than attempting to control behaviour with a new set of rules and laws then this book will be like throwing open the windows in a dark and stuffy room. It not only presents right thinking about a life of faith, but helpfully points out some of the reasons why it may have been elusive thus far.
This is a great resource for use in a small groups or 'book club' setting but also a thoughtful and reflective read for the individual.
If Alpha gave you a leg up and got you over the fence then this book will help you live on the other side.

This book would make a great study for a small discussion group. It is a wonderful discipleship tool I hope to use many times. The chapters are concise but packed with wonderful truths every Christian should take to heart.
