Product Description

Product Description

This is my story, from a child survivor's perspective, how I escaped concentration camps, executions squads and the gas chambers. Orphaned at 13 years of age, I had a strong will and kept my body as strong as I could. Now that I am 80 years old, writing these experiences has helped me to overcome the nightmare I lived through and it also provides a living history for my readers.

This book is an excellent written and account of a horror that existed and only 50 years ago. The holocaust survivor deserves thanks for sharing his honest memories. Lest we forget. Thanks to Ben Midler

5.0 out of 5 stars a must read 6 Sep 2012

Mr Midler i stand in awe of you. You survived such horrors that no human being should ever endure and your spirit remains unbroken.
I hope that your testimony recalling so vividly the inhumanity you and millions of men, women and children suffered are etched as indelibly on the minds of the world as they are on mine. This narrative is heartbreaking and hard to read, however it should be read so no one ever forgets what happens when people lose the essence of humanity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Interesting and informative ! 17 Oct 2013
By Trish
Format:Kindle Edition
This book could have been separated into several. This is not being critical, simply stating that it tells many stories. Throughout the book, the writer provides basic but important historical information about world history. An excellent insight into the holocaust, with a detailed and personal account of the horrors connected with it. I have read many books on the holocaust, this I would recommend to all..

The final liquidation of the Bialystock ghetto took place in August 1943, and was marked by heroic resistance of the ghetto Jews against their monstrous oppressors. Despite Jewish resistance, the ghetto was completely obliterated in just one week. On August 16, 1943, a Sunday morning, several hundred wellarmed Nazis moved into the ghetto. "e;
