What on earth have hazelnuts, walnuts and coconuts got to do with business? Well they are just one of the many analogies that Iain Whyte uses in his excellent book: Life, Business & Speedboats. His common sense, straight talking approach to business. delivers exactly any busy business owner needs - practical suggestions to move your business forward that are straight to the point and cut out the waffle and unecessary pages that many business books contain. I'd highly recommend this to anybody serious about growing their business.
Iain Whyte is so entertaining on stage and provides straightforward, matter of fact, usable advice for business owners to develop their business. This book takes that advice and delivers it in just the same simple and yet very valuable manner that you would be foolish to ignore it. If you are serious about getting more business and want to know how to do it simply and efficiently then Life, Business and Speedboats is a must read for you.

So often I find business books inspirational OR practical. It is rare I find both in one place.
Life, business and speedboats has a superb, readable stlye with simple, doable exercises that have helped me make change immediately.
Iain Whyte's writing style is a joy - I did find myself reading in a Scottish accent!!
I would highly recommend this book - and now give to attendees at my own training workshops as "required reading".
