If you are new to this topic and have never read anything on life after death, then this book is perfect because it covers everything (all areas) in one, easy to read highly interesting book. It is clearly written with a very grounded approach (the author sits firmly on the fence I would say) and it is NOT preachy and religious. Well, it is religious in the sense that he is writing about evidence for the afterlife and religion is basically about belief in an afterlife, but that is where the similarity between this book and religion ends.
If on the other hand you are like me and you have practically read a whole library on the subject already, do not worry that this book might be too basic. Although it is a concisely written book, it doesn't bombard you with scientific babble and unfamiliar words and the reader is always treated as an intelligent, inquisitive person, not a mindless moron who isn't even aware he or she will die some day. Even if you are already familiar with some of the concepts and evidence such as NDE's, after death communication, the various planes of existence etc. it is still further validation because this book compliments many others in the metaphysical genre as oppose to contradicting them. Take for example a book written by a psychic medium or an interlife/ past life hypnotic regressionist - this book well and truly backs up those theories using scientific evidence (remember this book is written by a very grounded, logical scientist who cannot ignore the facts any longer). It really does cover a bit of everything and it is one of my firm favourites for that very reason. It is the one-stop-afterlife-shop!
Death is like journeying to a foreign land and what traveller would go on holiday without even some inkling of how they will get there or where they are going? You would get a guidebook, yes? Well this is a guidebook for our Ultimate Journey. I have read that the more prepared we are now, the easier and better our transition to beyond the veil will be. Yes, I am a believer but only because I have researched the subject to death (if you pardon the pun). After what I have read, I have no choice but to believe! Apparently death is a joyous event and should not be feared and it is as easy as blinking your eyes. I have read that death is actually a graduation, not the final end many of us fear it to be and is simply a return to our true home and our true spirit form after being in 'school'. Apparently, it's so easy I have encountered many a tale of a spirit not realising they had died! They just got up and walked off. Blink and you'll miss it perhaps.
It's time to lift the taboo of this illusion we call death and discuss it more. Where are we in our soul's evolution? What level are we at? What do we hope to achieve during this particular earthly incarnation? But to have answers to those questions whilst incarnate would be like having the answers to an exam, so we are sent here with memory blocks in place and only when we go home do we get the answers. Did we pass or fail? It matters not of course as the only punishment in the afterlife is that which is meted out by one's (often very sorry) self. The only real fail is to quit out early . As long as we stick it out and give it our best shot we have have nothing to worry about.
Jesus once said 'Blessed be the persecuted'. It took me a while to figure out what exactly that meant, but I think I understand it now. Well, my loft sure feels persecuted by the amount of books I have in it!
The answer as to why we are here and what we are meant to do is available to all if we don't mind shelling out for a few books (all available at a great price from Amazon no less)! To learn further secrets of life after death, try these authors:
